Meet Our Trainer

Michelle Goldner is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and has owned and worked with dogs her entire life. Michelle holds an undergraduate degree in Marketing and an MBA in Management. Her valuable business skills have greatly enhanced her ability to take her love and understanding of dogs and share it with others. In addition to her full time career and running A Wag N’ Time, Michelle has raised and trained several dogs for service work (mobility assistance and work with autistic children) and therapy work. Michelle is on the board and is the Training Coordinator for Veteran’s Best Friend Indiana, Inc.  This 501c3 organization matches veterans and Gold Star families with shelter pets. Dogs are adopted and live with Michelle and her team of trainers for 4-6 weeks for training and are then placed in their “furever” homes with all the supplies they need to start their new lives. The organizations also offers those veterans who already have dogs free one-on-one training.

Besides her love of training and working with dogs, Michelle has been an avid equestrian for over 50 years and shows and trains Dressage horses.
